What Do We Do?
Many people wonder what it is that Professional Organisers do, so here's a rough guide. It's also a rough guide to what we don't do!
What we do
* We come to your house or office.
* We help you sort through your STUFF.
* We take away STUFF you want to get rid of.
* We talk to you as we go, to find out what you want and what you need.
* We re-organise your filing system and paperwork.
* We suggest appropriate storage or filing systems.
* We train you to keep on top of email, paperwork, and everything else.
* We suggest better ways to arrange or organise what you've got.
* We help you organise your stuff and your time.
* We help you build new habits and break old ones.
* We help you work out for yourself what you need, what you want, and what's just STUFF.
* We set you homework!
* We adhere to the AAPO Code of Ethics.
What we don't do
* We don't make you get rid of anything: it's your STUFF, we just ask the questions that help you decide.
* We don't offer opinions on your home or business: we just aim to help you make the most of them.
* We don't tell others about your STUFF: everyone has STUFF, and it's a very personal thing.
* We don't clean, we just help you get UN-STUFFED.
